Prague’s urban policy raises some artistic questions

Prague’s buildings are among the city’s greatest assets, but concern for the protection and revival of historical spaces has been somewhat lackadaisical. A group exhibition at Karlín Studios called “Whose City is This?” is a critical reaction to contemporary architecture and urbanism in Prague. The exhibit in an industrial space was done “punk style” with artists ranging from students to citizen activists.
