Most film festivals try to bring the best. Not so for the Shockproof festival at Prague’s Aero movie theater. B movies and other obscure entries from cinema’s dark underbelly make up the rather diverse program. This year the festival branches out with live music for a silent movie and world premiere.
Bringing together movies like the notorious “A Serbian Film” and one featuring “the Filipino midget James Bond,” the Shockproof Film Festival is likely to test stomachs and generate belly laughs in roughly equal measure.
