Czechs release Pakistani terror suspect

After Pakistan failed to submit an extradition request and original international arrest warrant within 40 days, Czech authorities were obliged by law to release a Pakistani national suspected of murder and terrorist offenses, the Czech Ministry of Justice announced on Monday.

Czechs arrest Pakistani on terrorism charges

A Pakistani national suspected of terrorist activities and murder was arrested in Prague last week, Interior Minister Jan Kubice announced on television on Sunday. The suspect was wanted on an international arrest warrant and had applied for political asylum in the Czech Republic, the minister said.

Czech politicians hail death of Bin Laden

Czech Foreign Minister Karel Schwarzenberg (TOP 09) is sending a letter of congratulations to the U.S. leadership on the assassination of al-Qaed leader Bin Laden in Pakistan on May 1. Prime Minister Petr Nečas has said that the death of the world’s most wanted man sends a clear message that mass murder will not go unpunished.
