‘Star Wars’ director George Lucas says Czech-shot feature film to be his last

“Red Tails,” the story of black airmen in WWII, which was largely made and filmed in the Czech Republic, could be director George Lucas’ feature film swansong. After spending more than 20 years trying to make the film, Lucas faced problems getting the final cut distributed by the big Hollywood studios.  The Star Wars director now says he wants to just make small scale, personal pictures.
