Trade unions plan ever more ‘painful’ anti-gov’t protests

The biggest grouping of Czech trade unions plans to follow up on the massive “Stop the Government” protest march on Saturday in Prague, attended by an estimated 100,000 people, with what actions it promises the center-right government will feel to its core. The ČMKOS says it will not participate in further tripartite meetings with the ODS-led government.

Czech unions call week of protest as anti-gov’t action widens

The biggest grouping of Czech trades unions outlined a week of protests in the run up to its mass demonstration against the center-right government in Prague called for April 21. It also named some of the civic organizations and groups that have signed up to the call  for the government to halt its reforms, pack its bags and call early elections.
