Interactive memorial to exiles opening in Modřany

Czechs and Slovaks who went into exile between 1939 and 1989 will be getting an interactive stone memorial in Prague’s Modřany district. A stone wall will display projected images, and viewers can listen to narration of people’s stories from the vantage point of a nearby glass staircase. The project is the idea of Petr Vrána, a video artist who immigrated to Germany in 1968.
