TPCA boss ‘satisfied’ with sales drop

Kolín, Central Bohemia-based carmaker Toyota Peugeot Citroën Automobile Czech reported unaudited pre-tax profit of Kč 1.4 billion for the full year 2010, based on revenue of Kč 44 billion. Production was down 11 percent over the previous year, due largely to the end of incentives in Germany for buying new cars. The company paid some Kč 6.3 billion in wages in 2010 and contributed Kč 2.2 billion to the state budget.
