British pop singer George Michael’s former Czech lover says the superstar’s pneumonia was caused by Czech weed, not AIDS

After British pop singer George Michael was hospitalized with pneumonia following a visit to the Czech Republic in mid-November, rumors circulated that he had contracted AIDS. However, Michael’s former Czech lover, Zdeněk Tovara, has told the Czech tabloid Aha! that the 48-year-old singer had probably underestimated the potency of Czech marijuana.
