Czech model Pavlína Němcová, who also uses the name Paulina Nemcova, has told the Czech celebrity news website Super.cz that she has landed a role alongside Sharon Stone in a Hollywood-produced romantic comedy. Němcová appeared as a journalist in the Oscar-winning French production “La Vie en Rose” about the life of singer Edith Piaf and has had roles in a number of French TV dramas.

“I don’t want to shout it out aloud, but it’s true that I have been chosen for a planned American romantic comedy in which Sharon Stone should appear in the lead role,” Pavlína told Super.cz.

“Sharon should play a writer who teaches women how to deal with men although her personal life is in ruins,” Němcová is cited as saying by the server. “Five women are to appear alongside Sharon in leading roles and I should be one of them.”

Němcová, 36, made her name as a model based in Paris the 1990s and then went on to study law and acting in New York. Most recently she played Ruth in “The Case of Unfaithful Klara,” an Italian-Czech coproduction based on a novel by contemporary Czech writer Michal Viewegh. The film was slated by the critics and was a box office flop.
