Czech Egyptologist: Ancient Egyptian sites damaged during unrest

Egyptian museums and ancient sites have been robbed in the chaos, Czech professor Miroslav Bárta reports from Cairo

Egyptian heritage sites are under threat. Gangs of thieves have raided ancient Egyptian sites in Giza, Abusir and Saqqara, Professor Miroslav Bárta says in an exclusive report for Czech Position, noting that archeological finds in the pyramid field of Abusir, uncovered by Czech expeditions over the past 50 years, were also targeted.
