Emergency services might be able to use the software to help identify hoax callers

Software is being developed by Czech researchers and a local company that promises to identify the whole gamut of human emotions from recordings. Still being finetuned, possible demand for the software is seen from call centers and perhaps emergency service switchboard centers. The techology is also being tested in a hospital to evaluate Parkinson’s disease patients’ reaction to treatment.
