CzechTrade and CzechInvest are the two main support structures operated by the Ministry of Industry and Trade to help companies looking to expand their business. CzechInvest helps foreign firms to establish offices and factories in the Czech Republic. It also helps to negotiate obtaining EU structural funds. CzechTrade, on the other hand, helps to pair up Czech companies with foreign business partners.

One method of business that the agency promotes is joint ventures. It has a database of potential suppliers and partners and organizes business forums and supplier days where foreign companies can establish business contacts with Czech firms that operate in the same sector.
